1990 honda civic.. cv joint?

i drive a 1990 honda civic with a 4 cyl, 4 speed. Front wheel drive.
When i turn right and accelerate from stop, my left front side makes a steady knocking, i can feel it in the steering wheel.. does anyone have a clue to what it is.. i have

the knocking you are hearing is do to the cv joint is bad if you have the half shaft replaced this should take care of the problem.
