Remote Starters?

Does anyone have a remote starter installed on their car? How do you like it and does it really work and from how far away?
Thanks for the tips.

ive had a few remote starts in various cars since the late 90's. only 1 had problems where it would try to start the car while already started. replaced the system with a new one and no problems. range varies depending on surroundings mainly. city
