hunter auto saver programmable thermostat

Does anyone know where I can find an rj59jc surface gap spark plug for my ducati 996?

My mechanic says I need it because my engine has a lot of compression and the piston touches the regular spak plug a little.This causes my bike to backfire as a result of running on one cylinder.

If all else fails, I would try the Ducati shop. But I personally have never heard of this spark plug
