Ford Fiesta 1.3 2001 model: Where would oil be leaking from if it was dripping from the air filter?
Hi, My fiesta has a rotten sump which is due to be replaced within the next few days. I have been topping the engine up with oil, but it is hard to tell the fill level on the dipstick due to a combination of a recent oil change and poor dipstick design.
You need to check the PCV aka positive crankcase ventilation valve it's a valve that draws fumes out of the motor to be reburned when it gets clogged it can start to suck oil out of the motor causing increased oil use if it stuck in the open position.
