What would be the best Subwoofer to put in a 1991 Mazda Protege?

Hello, I am wondering what would be the best subwoofer to be pushed in a 1991 mazda protege dx.. I am pushing 2 10 inch spl 10's and It is not sufficent enough for me.. I would like something that you can hear a mile away but not for mucho $.. I am wondering
Your smaller speakers "10's" probably aren't loud enough because they "punch" instead of "knock". The sounds that you hear far away is because they are at lower frequency's which can only happen with larger speakers. You
