Dodge Cummins fuel filter differences?

I just wanted to know the big difference between the 99' and 00' Dodge cummins fuel filter. The 99' is $40.99 and the 00' is $25.99. I know they share the same motor from 98.5' - 02' so why is one fuel filter more expensive?

wot engine is it Isb 3.9 or other , anyway if u can stillsource the cheaper filter it will be ok to use but the newer filter probably has better filtration ,which will help preserve your fuel system,best to use the best, as pumps and injectors are very
