What does "High output" really mean in a car alternator for car audio?

Alternators range from like 50 to 400 amps; but some; like for car audio are designated "high output. What does this mean? Is a "high output" 200 amp alt. better than a 300 amp "regular" alternator.

no a 300 amp regular alternator would be for like a big work truck with a lot of stationary tools and things like that or maybe certain big luxury vehicles. a H.O alternator is just like when your stock one is only 105 amps. I'm actually getting a 160
