I would like to know about a Pontiac rear end 10 bolt that I would like to change the ring gear and pinion in.

I have a 10 bolt rear end out of a 1988 Firebird 5.7 L . I would like to know what all I have to change to put a 373 ring gear and pinion in. I thank it is a 315 gear. If you have any information my e-mail is j.mcclure1979@charter.net. Thanks

Replace the entire rear end...the casing is going to be worn....it will cost a fortune to rebuild !
